The national ice hockey associations of Africa and South America — nine countries, from South Africa, an IIHF member since 1937, to Kenya, which joined in 2024. These are the smallest ice hockey associations in the world and some of them have no website of their own.

Hockey Algeria — an IIHF associate member since 26 September 2019, with 128 registered players. Its own domain now redirects to a fan shop, so the association posts its news on Facebook.

The Argentine association of ice and in-line hockey — an IIHF member since 31 May 1998. The site runs the player registration database and covers tournaments such as the LATAM Cup.

The Brazilian ice sports confederation — an IIHF member since 26 June 1984. It governs every ice sport and ice hockey has its own section on the site.

The Chilean federation of in-line and ice hockey — an IIHF member since 22 September 1999. It has no website of its own and posts its games and national team events on Facebook.

za South Africa

The South African Ice Hockey Federation — an IIHF member since 25 February 1937 and the oldest ice hockey association in Africa. It fields national teams across four divisions and has 491 registered players.

The Kenya Federation of Ice Sports — the newest African IIHF member, having joined on 27 September 2024. It is the home of the national team known as the Kenya Ice Lions.

The Colombian ice hockey federation — an IIHF member since 26 September 2019. The site covers its hockey school, volunteer recruitment and the national team.

The Royal Moroccan Ice Hockey Federation — an IIHF member since 22 May 2010 and, with 779 players, the largest association in Africa. Its own website is down, so the link points to its profile in the IIHF database.

Tunisie Hockey — an IIHF member since 22 September 2021, with 94 registered players. It has no website of its own and publishes its news on Facebook.
