Ice Hockey Australia — an IIHF member since 11 February 1938 and, with 5,270 registered players, the largest association in the southern hemisphere. The site covers the national teams, the competitions and youth hockey.

The Bahrain Hockey Association — one of the newest IIHF members, having joined on 26 September 2024, with 70 registered players. It has no website and posts its practices and games on Facebook.

The Chinese Ice Hockey Association — an IIHF member since 25 July 1963 and, with 10,786 registered players, the second-largest association in Asia. Its website icehockey.sport.org.cn cannot be reached from outside China, so the link points to its IIHF profile.

The Chinese Taipei Ice Hockey Federation — an IIHF member since 1 September 1983, with 842 registered players. Its website has long been unreachable, so the federation publishes its squads and competitions on Facebook.

The Hong Kong Ice Hockey Association — an IIHF member since 30 April 1983, with 891 registered players. Neither icehockeyhongkong.org nor its Facebook page works any more, so the link points to its IIHF profile.

The Ice Hockey Association of India — an IIHF member since 27 April 1989, with 2,554 registered players; the game is played mainly on natural ice in Ladakh. The association has no website of its own and is active on Facebook.

The Indonesian ice hockey federation — an IIHF member since 20 May 2016, with 192 registered players. It has no website or social media, so the link points to its IIHF profile.

The Iranian winter sports federation, which also governs ice hockey — an IIHF member since 26 September 2019, with 745 registered players. Its website skifed.ir cannot be reached from abroad, so the link points to its IIHF profile.

The Japan Ice Hockey Federation — an IIHF member since 26 January 1930 and, with 13,842 registered players, the largest association in Asia. The site carries the results of the domestic competitions and the national teams.

The Kuwait ice hockey federation — an IIHF member since 8 May 2009, with 437 registered players. The domain ihfkw.com now redirects to an unrelated commercial site, so the link points to its IIHF profile.

The Ice Hockey Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic — an IIHF member since 14 May 2011 and, with 2,134 players, the largest association in Central Asia. In 2026 it hosted the Asian U18 Cup at the Nomad Arena in Bishkek.

Lebanon Hockey — an IIHF member since 26 September 2019, with 138 registered players. The federation operates from Beirut and from Quebec in Canada, where it runs camps and tournaments for the Lebanese diaspora.

The Macau ice sports federation — an IIHF member since 12 May 2005, with 139 registered players. Its website moisf.org returns a 403 error, so the link points to its IIHF profile.

The Malaysia Ice Hockey Federation — an IIHF member since 28 September 2006, with 121 registered players. The domain mihf.my now redirects elsewhere and its Facebook page is unavailable, so the link points to its IIHF profile.

The Mongolian ice hockey federation — an IIHF member since 15 May 1999, with 792 registered players. It has no website or social media, so the link points to its IIHF profile.

The Nepal Ice Hockey Association — an IIHF member since 20 May 2016, with 202 registered players. Its own domain no longer works, so the association communicates through Facebook.

Ice Hockey New Zealand — an IIHF member since 2 May 1977, with 2,446 registered players. The site covers the national leagues, the national teams and learn-to-play programmes.

Hockey Philippines — an IIHF member since 20 May 2016, with 315 registered players. Its own domain hockeyph.com no longer exists, so the association communicates through Facebook.

The Qatar Winter Sports Committee — an IIHF member since 18 May 2012, with 181 registered players. It governs every winter sport and publishes its news on Facebook.

The Singapore Ice Hockey Association — an IIHF member since 2 May 1996, with 140 registered players. The site siha.org.sg reports a critical error, so the association is active on Facebook instead.

The Korea Ice Hockey Association — an IIHF member since 25 July 1960, with 3,587 registered players. The site covers the national teams, player registration and the weekend league.

The Ice Hockey Association of Thailand — an IIHF member since 27 April 1989, with 732 registered players. The site icehockeythailand.org returns a 404 and its Facebook page has been silent since the end of 2025, so the link points to its IIHF profile.

The Turkmenistan ice hockey federation — an IIHF member since 15 May 2015, with 710 registered players. It has no website or social media, so the link points to its IIHF profile.

ae United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates ice hockey federation — an IIHF member since 10 May 2001, with 651 registered players. The site uaeihf.ae no longer exists and its Facebook page has been silent since 2018, so the link points to its IIHF profile.

The Ice Hockey Federation of Uzbekistan — an IIHF member since 26 September 2019, with 411 registered players. In 2026 its under-18 national team won the Asian Cup for the third time.
