Halden — founded on 1 December 1961, the club plays at the Halden ishall, opened in 1987; after going bankrupt in 2009 it was re-established the same year.

Gjøvik — founded in 1990, the club plays at the Fjellhallen, an Olympic arena carved into the mountain; it finished second in the 2025/26 season.

Oslo — the ice hockey arm of a club founded in 1914 plays at the Grünerhallen, which holds 600 spectators; it finished third in 2025/26.

Kongsvinger — the ice hockey section, founded in 1961, plays at the Kongshallen, which holds 2,000 spectators.

Lørenskog — founded in 1963, the club plays at the Lørenskog ishall, which holds 1,350 spectators; it holds the second-tier record with seven titles and was relegated back there in 2026.

Oslo — founded in 1913, the club plays at the Manglerudhallen, which holds 2,000 spectators; Norwegian champion in 1977 and 1978.

Nordre Follo — the elite team of Ski IL, founded in 1919, plays at the Ski ishall, which holds 600 spectators.

Tromsø — the league's northernmost club was founded in 2004 and plays at the Tromsø ishall, which holds 500 spectators.
