The competitions section of the Qatar Volleyball Association, which runs the league — every season has its own page with the table and results, and alongside the league there are the Amir Cup, the Qatar Cup and the youth competitions. The association was founded in 1962, joined the international federation FIVB in 1974 and the Asian confederation AVC in 1976. Ten clubs played in the top flight in 2025/26 and Al Arabi finished top of the table; the 2026/27 season had not started as of 19 September 2026. According to the roll of honour on the association’s site, Al Arabi is the most successful club with nine titles since 2004/05.

Al Ahli — the Doha club appears three times as runner-up in the association’s roll of honour (2011/12, 2012/13 and 2020/21) and once as third (2006/07); it finished sixth in the 2025/26 table. Al Arabi — with nine titles since 2004/05 the Doha club is Qatar’s most successful volleyball side; it also won the last two seasons listed in the roll of honour (2022/23 and 2023/24) and finished top of the 2025/26 table. The link goes to the volleyball section of the club’s official website.

Al Gharafa — the club from Al Rayyan finished ninth in the 2025/26 table; its volleyball section also works with the youngest players and in 2024 hosted the sixth edition of its under-ten festival, played three against three. The link goes to the volleyball section of the club’s official website.

Al Khor — the club from the coastal town of Al Khor in the north of the country finished eighth in the 2025/26 table; volleyball is, in the club’s own words, one of the sports whose development it gives great importance, and under the auspices of the Qatar Volleyball Association it runs classes for all ages. Al Rayyan — the club from Al Rayyan has six titles in the association’s roll of honour, the last of them in 2021/22, and is Qatar’s second most successful side; it finished fourth in the 2025/26 table. The link goes to the volleyball section of the club’s official website.

Al Sadd — Qatar’s best-known sports club, from Doha, lists a 2010 first-division title and the 2007 QVA Cup among its volleyball honours; it finished tenth in the 2025/26 table. Al Shamal — the club from Qatar’s northern tip won the association’s junior cup in April 2026; it finished seventh in the 2025/26 table. The link goes to the volleyball section of the club’s official website.

Al Wakrah — founded in 1959 and nicknamed the Blue Wave, the club from the port town of Al Wakrah were league runners-up in 2021/22 and finished second again in the 2025/26 table. Police SC — the volleyball team of Qatar’s police club, based in Doha, won the league in 2019/20 and 2020/21 and took the Qatar Cup in 2026; it finished third in the 2025/26 table. It has no website of its own and its Instagram account has been dormant since 2020, so the link goes to the official Facebook page of the club’s volleyball section.

Qatar SC — the Doha club won the league in 2005/06 and 2008/09 and finished fifth in the 2025/26 table; in May 2026 its women’s team took third place in the Qatari women’s league. The link goes to the volleyball section of the club’s official website.
