The page of France's top men's league on the Ligue Nationale de Volley site — fixtures, standings, statistics and club profiles; since September 2026 it carries the Volstar brand and is sponsored as the Alterna Volstar.

Sète — founded in 1953, three-time runners-up in the French championship (1988, 2005 and 2016).

Cannes — ten-time French champions, most recently in 2021; the volleyball section of AS Cannes was founded in 1942 and plays as the Dragons.

Narbonne — founded in 1963 and winners of the 2022 Challenge Cup; they play their home matches at the Narbonne Arena.

Chaumont — founded in 1963 and in the top flight since 2012/13; French champions in 2017 and four-time runners-up (2018, 2019, 2021 and 2023).

Montpellier — nine-time French champions, winning the title again in 2025/26; the volleyball section is part of Montpellier Hérault Sport Club.

Nice — founded in 1976; alongside its professional team the club also runs a side in the second national division.

Paris — nine-time French champions (2000–2003, 2006–2009 and 2016), four-time French Cup winners and Champions League winners; the club was founded in 1998.

Le Plessis-Robinson — founded in 1964 in the southern suburbs of Paris, in the top flight since 2021 and nicknamed the Hiboux (Owls).

Royan — nicknamed the Pirates, the club is playing in the top flight for the first time in its history in 2026/27; its home is the Espace Cordouan.

Saint-Nazaire — founded in 1972 and French champions in 2024; the club plays at the Pierre de Coubertin gymnasium.

Toulouse — formed in 1994 by the merger of the volleyball sections of Toulouse Université Club and Toulouse Olympique Aérospatiale Club; they reached the French championship final in 2017.

Poitiers — founded in 2012 after the original Stade Poitevin Volley-Ball folded; in the top flight since 2015/16 and runners-up in both 2025 and 2026.

Tourcoing — founded in 1965 in the northern suburbs of Lille, three-time runners-up in the French championship (1994, 2000 and 2004).

Tours — ten-time French champions (most recently in 2025), eleven-time French Cup winners and Champions League winners; the club traces its roots to 1940.
