The top continental championship for men in Africa. The 2026 edition is played from 15 to 25 September in Tunis with 16 teams — on 20 August 2026 CAVB officially moved it from Kinshasa to Tunisia.

The top continental championship for women in Africa. The 2026 edition ran from 25 August to 6 September in Nairobi, Kenya with 15 teams; Egypt beat Kenya in the final to take the African title and a place at the 2028 Olympics.

The African club champions' cup for men. The 2025/26 edition, played from 21 April to 3 May 2026, had 24 clubs and was won by Al Ahly of Egypt ahead of the Rwandan sides National Police and Energy Group.

The African club champions' cup for women. The 2025/26 edition, played from 11 to 23 April 2026, had 18 clubs and was won by Al Ahly of Egypt ahead of the Kenyan sides Kenya Commercial Bank and Kenya Pipeline.

The men's volleyball tournament of the 14th African Games, held from 20 January to 7 February 2027 in Cairo, Egypt. Sixteen teams are entered.

The women's volleyball tournament of the 14th African Games, held from 20 January to 7 February 2027 in Cairo, Egypt. Twelve teams are entered.

The African Championship for men under 20. The 2025 edition ran from 10 to 21 September with eight teams and was won by Egypt ahead of Cameroon and Kenya.

The African Championship for women under 20. The 2025 edition ran from 2 to 12 August with six teams and was won by Kenya ahead of Cameroon and Egypt.

The African Championship for girls under 18. The 2026 edition ran from 20 to 30 July with six teams and was won by Tunisia ahead of Egypt and Algeria.

The African Championship for boys under 16, the youngest continental age group. The 2025 edition ran from 24 to 29 August with four teams and was won by Egypt ahead of Tunisia and Algeria.
